Jim Davis & Family
As a pastor one of the greatest gifts God has given to you is your family. I thank God for a family that is sold out for him. Neither my wife or I was born into strong religious homes. I started attending church as Sunday School bus route child. My wife attributes her walk with God as fruits of the faithful witness and prayer life her grandmother. Through different paths both of us were taught this Apostolic Doctrine and filled with the wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost as teenagers. With both of us coming from broken homes, this sparks the fire within us to see homes in Gods Plan; free from the brokenness of sin. We believe Godly homes are essential. This is how we raise our children; Julia 15, Adalyn 13, and Wesly 12.
In over 20 years of ministry I have had the opportunity to work as a youth pastor, assistant pastor, and now lead pastor. During that time I was able to participate in many different ministries such as Prison Ministry, Sectional Youth President, a missions trip to India, Hospital and Shut-In Ministry, and District Secretary for the New York Mid- Atlantic District. It has been beautiful to see how God has equipped and prepared our family to fulfill the pastorate position we now fulfill.

Vernon Barrett & Family
From the desk of Bro. Barrett:
Both my wife and I are proud to be able to work for the Lord. We thank God everyday for our walk with him. This drives us as were are working to help the Apolstolic Church of Oxford plant the seeds of his "Good News". We share the message that you must be grounded to the word of God in order for the seeds to grow.
These very seeds were planted in us some 20 years ago . During our time of ministry we have been very versatile while working in the local church. We have spent the majority of our team heading outreach's to the lost as well as teaching adult and youth Sunday School classes.
As you know the ministry requires you to wear many hats. I have worked in Mens Ministry, Youth Ministry, as well as the Adult Ministry. Sis. Barrett continues stays active in the church working with the Sunday School Dept. as well as working with the Hospitality works of the church .
We continue to work at the Apostolic Church of Oxford a place where we know God has placed us. We continue to grow as we strive for Gods perfection. Our lives are examples that "all things are possible with God".
